The Children and Youth Discipleship Team is focused on serving the children, youth, and young families of our congregation.  Its members have covenanted together to serve in the following way:

As members of the First Baptist Church at Pedricktown, and as servants together on the Children and Youth Discipleship Team, I covenant with my fellow workers to…
•    provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for our children/youth
•    have programs and activities targeted to reach the youth of our community
•    partner with parents/families to support the spiritual growth of their child(ren)
•    help each child know the love of God and grow in his/her relationship with Jesus Christ
•    discipleship
•    help children and youth in the church discover their God-given gifts and provide opportunities to participate in service projects.
•    equip and empower volunteers of C&Y ministries to be effective in sharing the Gospel with our youth

To these responsibilities we humbly ask God’s blessing, His direction and ever-presence as we seek to trust and serve together on this team.
