Adult Discipleship Team

The Adult Discipleship Team oversees any programmed opportunities for adults to learn more about the Savior and His will in our lives. Through studies of the scriptures and relevant topics, we hope to provide the grounding each adult needs to live out faith in the world today. We also seek to offer direction and support in finding ways to serve the community that show the love of God to others. Through fellowship, we hope to build up the body of Christ to be caring, able to discern need in others, and full of hope for God’s world.

Some of the responsibilities overseen by the Adult Discipleship Team include the following…open to all:

  • Classes for adults to study together each Sunday, following worship and fellowship times
  • Discipleship groups and other small-group studies that meet in homes and at the church throughout the week, which seek to support spiritual growth and help bring Christ’s love into the world
  • Prayer vigils and prayer breakfasts throughout the year
  • Other means for adults to join for fellowship, service, and support
  • Support for adults new to the faith, those seeking baptism, and new members to FBC
  • Administration of the M.E. Pedrick Scholarship Fund

We ask God to guide all our steps and look forward to what he will give us to do.  Tell the ADT how we can support you!
